Laura Ann Wolf, 84, beloved wife of the late Gerald Wolf, passed away on July 5, 2015 after a short illness. Born in Hamden on October 29, 1930 to the late Clement and Marion Kirk Wetmore. Laura will be remembered by her son, John Wolf & his wife Dorothy of Hamden; daughter, Linda Campagna of Stewartstown, PA; grandchildren, Kate Campagna, Kerri & David Wolf, Jamie Nicolson, and Kari Streib; siblings, Gloria Scarpa & her husband Michael of Wallingford, Erwin 'Jim' Wetmore & his wife Beverly of Hamden, Paul Wetmore & his wife Elizabeth of Hamden, and Lila Steven & her husband Fred of Brownington, VT. She was predeceased by her siblings, Duane, Muriel, & Viola Wetmore, Gladys Brown, and Ellen Krzeminski. A lifelong resident of Hamden, Laura was a member of the Mt. Carmel Congregational Church and past President of the Ladies Guild. As a member she had knit hats and mittens for Native American Tribes. Laura had also been a member of the Daughters of the Nile and was a talented sewer. She worked at the New Haven Register in the Classifieds Dept. before working as a cook at Friendly's for 21 years. Laura and her husband had enjoyed traveling all over the United States and parts of Europe. Friends may visit with her family on Wednesday evening, July 8th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden. Her Funeral Service will be Celebrated on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Contributions in Laura's memory may be sent to Mt. Carmel Congregational Church, 3284 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06518.

Mom ALWAYS was there for anyone who needed help, and she took pleasure in that. Always with that sweet smile and sense of humor. She will TRULY be missed.
