Laura Brown
Meriden- Laura Brown, 85, wife of 41 years of Edward Brown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at MidState Medical Center. She was born May 29, 1922 in Central Falls, RI a daughter of the late Frank and Irene (Blanchette) Rivet. Mrs. Brown was an auditor for Stanadyne until her retirement. She loved sewing, camping and traveling. She was a great wife, mother and grandmother who will be very deeply missed. Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Connie Borger of Windsor and Claudette Dolan of Smithfield, RI, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, her everyday companions, Noel and Mereda as well as many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 13 at 1:00 p.m at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be private.
