In Wallingford, March 8, 2003,Leona Elizabeth Nickles Ward, 83, of 39 Ashford St., West Haven wife of the late Lawrence P. Ward, mother of Sharron and her husband Michael Savinelli of Northford, Catherine Tommessilli of Northford, Maureen and her husband William Wojciechowski of East Haven, sister of Raymond F. Nickles of Failee, VT and Raymond C. Nickles of Benton, NH and the late Marion Calise and Leon Nickles, grandmother of Kari and Kayla Wojciechowski of East Haven, Jeffrey Savinelli of Northford, Christopher Thomas of Hamden, James Angelides of West Haven, great-grandmother of James III and Aleia Angelides both of West Haven. She was born in Rutland, VT, January 9, 1920 daughter of the late Frederick and Leona Pryer Nickles. She was a life long resident of West Haven.
