Leonard H. Davis

Meriden - Leonard H. Davis, 75 husband of Denise Solomon Davis passed away Friday, March 31, 2006 at MidState Medical Center. He was born May 27, 1930 in Newark, NJ a son of the late Jacob and Betty Zager Davis. He was a machine operator for EIS Automotive until retiring ten years ago, and after retirement he worked for Lyman Products in Middletown. Leonard proudly served his country in the U.S.Army as a paratrooper in the 101st. Airborne Unit.He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Denise, two daughters, Cindy Davis of Meriden and Jill Delvecchio of Toms River, NJ, three grandchildren, Dawn Crowe, Kelly Davis and Arthur Kowalczyk and five great-grandchildren, Ricky, Anthony, Antonio, Alicia and Ashley. He also leaves three sisters, Lois, Joan and Shelly. Funeral service Tuesday, April 4 at 3 p.m. at Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 noon - 3:00 p.m.
