In Lakeland, FL, Feb. 13, 2006, Lillian Coe Smith Kronberg, 99, of Deerwood Dr., Lakeland, FL, formerly of West Haven, wife of the late Axel Kronberg also predeceased by her first husband, Lloyd E. Smith, of West Haven, and mother of June Rice and her husband, Donald and Carolyn Lewis and her husband, Francis all of Lakeland and David E. Smith and his wife, Marjorie of Hamden, CT, sister of Robert Coe of Levittown, NY and Louise Bolan of New Haven, CT. Also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Edna Hande. Lillian was born in Milford March 22, 1906, eldest child of the late William and Mary Carr Coe. She was an administrative assistant in the Sociology Department at Yale University for sixteen years, and member of the Advent Christian Church. She was a resident of West Haven for many years. Funeral Service Monday, Feb 20 at 1 p.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, Campbell Ave. at Court St. West Haven. Officiating at the service will be her grandson, the Rev. Glenn M. Rice, of Oxford, MA. He will be assisted by Pastor Marc Proch, pastor of Evangelical Baptist Church, North Haven. Friends may call Sunday from 4 - 8 p.m. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, West Haven.

She was a fine lady and I have many happy memories of her and Uncle Llyod. Sorry I cant be with you all, but know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
