Lillian E. Baumgartner, age 87, of Hamden, passed away at her home on October 11, 2009. Lillian was the widow of Frederick Baumgartner; mother of Paul (Betty) Baumgartner and Ann Veno all of Hamden; grandmother of Lori, Amy & Mary Baumgartner and Tom (Keira) Veno & Kathy (Bob) Kelsey; great grandmother of Jennifer Caputo, Jessica Kelsey & Drew Veno. Born in West Haven, CT on March 10, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Arnt & Clementine Cruz Andrewsen. Lillian was also predeceased by her brothers; Raymond & Harold Andrewsen. Lillian was an avid Red Sox fan. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM in BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden. Friends may also visit with her family on Wednesday at the funeral home from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven.
