Lillian Evelyn Fiille, 84, of Hamden, passed away on December 5, 2009 at her home after several months of illness. She was born in New Haven on November 25, 1925 to the late Frank and Lillian Baird Fiille. Lillian, a life long member of Hamden, practiced her faith at the Whitneyville United Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school. She was a graduate of the Traphogen School of Design in New York and worked for Malley's Dept. store before her employment at SNET for 30 years as a graphic designer. She was also a member of the Hamden North Haven Women's Club. She was a talented artist enjoynig many different kinds of arts and crafts. Many of her water color paintings have been sold and some given as gifts to family and friends. Lillian did not have a large family but she had a lot of close and dear friends whom she loved to travel with. Many thanks to the staff at Maplewoods and Larson Place for their care over the years. A Memorial Service will be held on December 12, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Whitneyville United Church of Christ, followed by a burial in Whitneyville Cemetery. BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., in care of arrangments.   1. Aunt Ev was always there for me. She was a very big part of my life and she meant the world to me. I remember when I got my wisdom teeth out and Aunt Ev brought me home from the hospital and brought me homemade pasta.,.This will be soft so you can eat it.. She said. She was always thinking of others, never herself. She lived a full life always traveling around the world to see what she could find. I know she is in heaven. I know her faith was strong and she is in a better place. I loved her dearly and she will be missed
