Linda Ann Urtel
Linda Ann (Creaser) Urtel, age 66, of Hamden, passed away at her home on October 29, 2016. Born in New Haven on April 29, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Edward G. Creaser & Anne Creaser. Linda is survived by her husband Jeffrey D. Abbott; her son Eric D. Urtel & his wife Andrea of Wallingford; her grandchildren Erica & Joseph Urtel; sister Deborah Zacarelli & her husband Derry of Clinton; niece Ashlyn Zacarelli; nephews Vincent & Jason Zacarelli, and her aunt Beatrice Ruby of Hobe Sound, FL. Linda was employed by Courtyard Marriott in Wallingford. She much enjoyed traveling and she had a passion for dining out whenever possible. Linda was an avid Patriot & Giant Football fan and always enjoyed motorcycling with her husband. Her family would like to thank the Smilow Cancer Hospital Staff for all the care and compassion she received in her time of need. Friends may visit with her family at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave. Hamden on Tuesday, Nov. 1st, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM and may attend her Funeral Service which will begin at 11:00.
