Linda E. Goodrow, age 72, of Southbury passed away on July 13, 2024.

Born in Albany, NY on October 13, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Alfred Swett and Rita May (Hood) Swett Murphy. She is survived by her husband Craig A. Goodrow; son Lee Philip Goodrow of New Milford; daughter Christina Coelho and her husband Joseph of Woodbury; grandchildren Delia and Adrienne Coelho; sister Alicia Laudano of Hamden; brother Carl Swett of Florida; and mother in-law Elizabeth Fairbanks of Southington. Linda was predeceased by her sisters Cynthia Simone, Pamela Abbott, Sandra Bates and Marsha Geauvane and her brothers Jeffrey and Bruce Swett.

Linda was a loving wife of 47 years, a mother of two, and a second mother to countless more. Her greatest joy in life was her family; husband, son and daughter, two grandchildren, siblings, mother-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was the glue that held it all together, always checking up on everyone to be sure all was well. She was never at a loss to find a reason for a get together and was happy to host. She loved to laugh and hear others laughing. She loved the little things, like filling Christmas stockings every year and collecting photo memories of everyone. She truly touched peoples’ lives and will be missed by many.

All may attend a Celebration of Her Life at Beecher & Bennett – Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden, CT on Monday, July 29, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
