In Hamden, Oct. 20, 2003, Lois Anderson Cannon of 19 Seminole Ave., wife of the late William M. Cannon. Born Sept.1, 1933, in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Beatrice Sherwood Anderson. Lois is survived by a daughter, Robyn Pond of Austin, TX and two sons: David O. Cannon of Monroe and Paul B. Cannon of West Haven, three sisters: Arlene Anderson Bartine of Putney, VT, Fay Tomlinson of Hillsborough, NH, Judith Jordon of Utah, brothers: Robert Anderson and Kenneth Anderson both of Stratford. Also survvived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A graduate of Baypath Junior College, Lois worked as an assistant to the treasurer of the Hamden Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union for over 20 years. She was a member of the Mount Camel Congregational Church, Alice Chapter, Order of Eastern Star the D.A.R. and the Sleeping Giant Park Association. A funeral service will be held at the Mount Carmel Congregational Church , 3284 Whitney Ave., Hamden on Friday, Oct. 24 at 11 a.m., a reception will follow in the Parish Hall.   1. I occasionally check the Bridgeport paper to see what is going on in CT, and was very surprised to see the notice on Lois, and to note that Bill was already gone. Please extend my condolences to the family, and in particular Bob and Fay, two old friends.
