Lois L. McLaughlin

WALLINGFORD -- Lois L. McLaughlin, 83, of 47 Heritage Woods, died July 5, 2002 and is now with her heavenly father. She was the wife of the late Clifford McLaughlin Sr. She was born in Springfield, ME, March 4, 1919, a daughter of the late Torry and Ada Boyington Merrill. She was a member of the Center Congregational Church in Meriden. She was devoted to her family and is survived by two daughters, Jacklyn Krampitz of Wallingford and Caroline Anderson of Waymart, PA; a daughter-in-law, Judyann Wilkerson of Lake City, FL; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Becky McLaughlin of Virginia Beach, VA, Ronald and Josie McLaughlin of Kensington; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Jean Merrill of Danielson, Roderick Merrill of Roy, Utah, Russell and Char Merrill of Fort Meyers Beach, FL, Clifford and Jan Merrill of Fort Collins, CO; two sisters, Noreen and her husband, Larry Elliot of Sun City Center, FL, Gladys Leighton of Charlotte, NC; a sister-in-law, Juanita Dill of Lincoln, ME; 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three step grandchildren; two great-step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many loving friends. She was predeceased by two sons, Clifford McLaughlin Jr. and John McLaughlin; a brother, Harry Merrill; and four sisters, Dorothy Abt, Louise Pregue, Norma Greiner and Evelyn Locastro. A private burial will take place in Carroll, Maine at the convenience of the family. May she rest in peace.
