Wallingford- Lois M. Crowther, 73 of Alison Ave., formerly of Hamden, wife of the late Richard Crowther passed away Wed., March 16, 2005 at the home of her daughter with whom she resided. She was born February 11, 1932 in New Haven a daughter of the late George and Ruth Wetmore Aylwin. She was a nursing shift supervisor for Coccomo Heathcare Center in Meriden and had also worked at Gaylord Hosptial and Brook Hollow Heathcare both in Wallingford. Lois was a memeber of the Yalesville United Methodist Church. She is survived by three children and their spouses, Linda and Thomas Tassmer of Wallingford, James and Nancy Crowther of Wallingford and John and Theresa Crowther of Meriden, a sister Evelyn Nollman of South Windsor and a brother, Donald Aylwin of Clinton. She also leaves eight grandchldren, Thomas and Stacy Tassmer, James, Jennifer, Melinda, Courtney and Holden Crowther and Ashley Goral. She was predeceased by a granddaugher Michelle Crowther. Funeral service Sat., March 19, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. The Rev. Fjeldal will officiate. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Yalesville United Methodist Church, 8 New Place, Yalesville, CT 06492.
