Lois is predeceased by a sister, Ruth Zawacki and a brother, Wesley Flanigan. Lois was a wonderful mother and wife who is already missed. She often said that living on the Cape, which she did for the last 1 ½ years of her life, was like being in heaven. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 21 at 11 am at Gethsemane Cemetery, Bee St., Meriden, CT. Arrangements are under the direction of Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave, Meriden. To Leslie, Scott, and Lori, So sorry about your loss, of your Mom. I was glad that she had some time living at the cape, for I know it was her dream to live there. I will treasure the memories of our childhood and the fun we had. Playing cards, sliding down the middle of the street,in winter time, skating at Hubbard park and birchwoods swimming at beavers and Baldwin ponds. It was a good life even tho it was during depression time. I shall always remember when you kids were born and watched your development thru the years. So many good memories. Stay strong and remember all the good times you had with your Mom and Dad too. Sincerest sympthay to you all. Sending my love also. Marie
