Lois (Waller) Schafrick, 82, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2023 at Midstate Medical Center with family by her side. Born on January 30, 1941 to Harold and Beatrice (Chadwick) Waller of South Meriden, Lois was in the first graduating class of Platt High School in 1959. She moved to Southington in her later years.
Lois was a kind, generous, and loving person who enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by her surviving family members, including her sons Thomas Schafrick and James Schafrick, son-in-law Christopher Carlone, granddaughter Madison, grandson Thomas, brother Harold Waller, his wife Joyce Waller, brother Harvey Waller, his wife Mary Waller, sister-in-law Linda Waller, sister-in-law Joan Waller, lifelong friends and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lois is now reunited with her sister Alice Bilger and husband Edward Bilger, brother Richard Waller, sister Lucille Hatch and brother Howard Waller.
A Memorial Service celebrating Lois’s life will be held on Saturday, June 3rd at 11:00 a.m. in The Hubbard Chapel, located in Walnut Grove Cemetery, 817 Old Colony Rd., Meriden. Friends are invited to visit with her family from 10:00-11:00 a.m. before the service. Her family asks that any flower orders be sent to Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave. Meriden.

  1. I knew Lois only few years but I remember her as being happy person and she always had a smile for me. I missed you when you retired from Bozzuto’s, but now I will miss you even more.
