Loretta Jane Marotti

Meriden-Loretta Jane Marotti, 66, beloved wife of 49 years to William Marotti Sr. of 40 Hawthorne Terrace passed away Sunday, October 21, 2007 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 5, 1941 daughter of the late Clifton and Catherine Dziat Southland and had resided in Meriden since 1950. Mrs Marotti was a charter member of the New Life Church of Meriden, led the Church Hospitality Ministry, and was a small group leader. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Laura Marotti of Meriden, three sons and their wives, William & Ann Marotti Jr., Daniel & Sandra Marotti, Michael & Elizabeth Marotti, all of Meriden, a sister Barbara Sporbert of Southington and 5 grandchildren, Andrea, William, Jeremy, Tiffany and Kelly. Funeral service in celebration of her life will be Wednesday Oct. 24. at 11 a.m. at New Life Church, 262 Bee St., Meriden. Friends may call AT THE CHURCH Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. Interment in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden.
