Lorraine M. Berlepsch

Lorraine M. Berlepsch, 90, of Woodbridge and formerly of Hamden, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014. Born in St. Louis, MO on November 16, 1923; she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Aloisia Muellner Koller. She was the loving wife of 68 years to the late Eugene E. Berlepsch, Sr. She will be fondly remembered by her daughter Jane Berzan, of Falls Church, VA, son Gene 'Skip' & his wife Barbara Berlepsch, of Orange, daughters-in-law Priscilla Berlepsch of Hamden and Holly Berlepsch of Northford, grandchildren, Justin & his wife Danielle Berlepsch, Kimberly, Megan, Brian, Eric, & Katie Berlepsch, and great-grandsons Peyton and Colton Berlepsch. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her daughter Joan Berlepsch, sons Paul & Brian Berlepsch, son-in-law Jonathan Berzan, brother-in-law Joseph Berlepsch, and sister-in-law Alberta Bassett, as well as her five older siblings. She was a member of the Oak Lane Country Club in Woodbridge, and one of the original parishioners of St. Joan of Arc Church in Hamden. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Friends may visit with her family at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, on Monday, November 17th from 9:30-10:30 AM. Friends are then invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Joan of Arc Church. Burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Hamden. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lorraine's memory may be sent to the Connecticut branch of the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Dr., Wallingford, CT 06492, or given online at www.donate.heart.org.
