Louise Cantarella DeMaio In Hartford, Jan. 31, 2002, Louise Cantarella DeMaio, 67, of 2405 Whitney Ave., Hamden, wife of the late Thomas J. DeMaio, mother of Thomas DeMaio of Midway, GA and Karen Green of Meriden, grandmother of Thomas A. DeMaio of Garden City, GA and Christine Green of Wallingford, great-grandmother of Jason N. Sullivan of Wallingford, sister of Tashia DeLizio of Hamden, Frances Gasperini of Wallingford, sister-in-law of Guido Gasperini and Mary Cantarella both of Wallingford. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and a dear friend, Ada Bergamini of Hamden. She was predeceased by brothers, Michael, Frederick and Louis Cantarella and a sister, Rena Manenti. She had worked as a teller at the former Connecticut Savings Bank in the Spring Glen section of Hamden for over 20 years and retired in 1995. Prior to that she worked at the former CO-OP Store in New Haven and Hamden. Memorial Mass will be Celebrated in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Thurs., Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of BEECHER & BENNETT, HAMDEN.
