Luis M. Alonso
Luis M. Alonso, 89, of Meriden, passed away on January 21, 2012. Born in Havana, Cuba on January 14, 1923 to the late Angel and Angela Villa Alonso. Luis is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Elena Gonzalez Alonso; daughter, Maria Sullivan and her husband Paul of Wallingford; son, Angel Alonso of Boston, MA; three grandchildren, Robert, Alexander, and David; two great-grandchildren, Brianna and Eli and three sisters. Luis was a parishioner of St. Rose Parish. Friends are invited to celebrate with his family, a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rose Church on Tuesday, January 24th at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be Private. BEECHER & BENNETT- FLATOW FUNERAL HOME, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden in care of arrangements.
Maria and family, Paul and I am so sorry for your loss I was planning to attend the mass but Paul has 9:45 AM appt with the Drs so I will be there spiritually.
I am very sorry to just learn of my uncle’s passing. I wish we had been notified when it happened so that we could have expressed our condolences and attend the services in his memory. May he rest in peace.
