I will always cherish my memories of going to my Auntie Lynn’s house as a kid! She always made it a fun time! No matter what we all did! From cooking together, to playing make believe parades in the rain. I am thankful for having you in my life. Love you Auntie Lynn.

Lynn Yvonne Goodwin Thomas, 80, died peacefully on December 23, 2024, at Midstate Medical Center surrounded by her family. Lynn was born on November 7, 1944, in Meriden, CT, where she single handedly raised her two daughters, and worked for Canberra Industries, Easter Seals and Hunter’s Ambulance, among others. She was a hard-working, strong and generous woman with a playful sense of humor. She loved taking rides down to the shore and crocheting afghans for family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Heather Zuckerman (Scott Zuckerman); granddaughter, Tanya Brunet (Michael Harris); grandsons, Tyler Burns (Tara Burns), Joshua Burns and Trace Burns; and great-grandson due in April, Elias John. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Evelyn Goodwin, and her daughter, Kimberly Ledoux. Lynn’s family finds comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on through cherished memories, the lessons she taught us and the love she shared.
A Memorial Service celebrating Lynn’s life will be held on Thursday December 26, 2024, at 6:00pm in Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave. Meriden. Friends may visit with her family from 4:00-6:00pm before the service. Interment will be held at a later date at the convenience of her family. Donations in her memory may be made to the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, 565 Ashford Center Rd. Ashford, CT 06278.
