M. Adelaide (Cox) Hildrich

In Meriden, Aug. 27, 2002, Mary Adelaide (Cox) Hildrich, of Masonic Ave., Wallingford, formerly of Linden St., West Haven, wife of J. Robert Hildrich, mother of Stephen R. Hildrich, Esq. and his wife, Andrea Nadel of Orange, also survived by granddaughters, Rachel A. and Lena A. Hildrich of Orange. She was predeceased by two infant brothers, William Bradford Cox and William Morrell Cox, Jr. She was born Sept. 14, 1916, daughter of the late William Morrell & Lena Adelaide Mathewson Cox. Adelaide worked as an accounting clerk at the former Western Electric Co. for 15 years before her retirement in 1966. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of West Haven where she was active in the former Keystone Group and had served in the choir. She was past president of the West Hills School PTA in New Haven in the 50's. Memorial service will be held Friday, Aug. 30 at 12 noon at the First Congregational Church of West Haven.
