Maedred E. Krick, 84, beloved wife of the late Kenneth Jacob Krick for 59 years, of 87 Hanover St., Yalesville, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2004, in the Masonic Geriatric Healthcare Center--Hospice Unit, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Krick was born in Englewood, CO on Dec. 11, 1919, a daughter of the late Charles H. and Louise Hadler Evers, and grew up in Falls Church, VA. She then resided in Yalesville where she was a homemaker, devoted wife and mother and a Brownie troop leader. She retired from the Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Co. in 1984 after 19 years as a typist in the engineering department. Mrs. Krick is survived by a daughter, Karen A. Krick of Wallingford; a son and his wife, Donald A. and Odelie Krick of Meriden; a grandson and his wife, Jason Michael and Jennifer L. Krick of Grosse Pointe Farms, MI; twin great-grandchildren, Willem Jacob Krick and Katherine Laurel Krick; two sisters, Winidred Urie of Orlando, FL and Charlotte Larson of Golden, CO; three sisters-in-law, Mildred Zigmont of Meriden, Catherine Krick of Agawam, MA and Ada Evers of Williamsburg, Iowa and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Mildred Patterson and four brothers, Eldred Evers, Kindred Evers, Andred Evers and Dundred Evers. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service of interment Wednesday, May 26 at 11 a.m. in the Walnut Grove Cemetery, Meriden, Section 18. Arrangements are in care of Beecher & Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden.
