Margaret C. Jaspersohn of Hamden, formerly of West Haven, passed away on the morning of November 17, 2006 at the age of 80. She is the beloved wife of Ellsworth Jaspersohn for 57 years. Devoted mother of Gary Jaspersohn and his wife, Catherine of MA, and Carlene Jaspersohn Granata and her husband, Jules of North Branford. Sister of her late beloved brothers, John Carroll and Robert Carroll, and her late beloved sisters, Ruth Carroll and Millie Lemoine. Sister-in-law of Dort Knabenschuh of AR. Loving grandmother of Matthew Granata, Ethan and Layla Flaherty, Andrea Flaherty, Jennifer and Andrew Pizzano, and Jeffrey and Hope Granata. Adoring great-grandmother of Malcolm and Jaden Flaherty. She also leaves several nephews and nieces, including JoAnne Brewer of Branford, Ruth Orifice of North Branford, and Paul Jaspersohn of Guilford. The most important thing in Margaret's life is the joy of being 'Honey,' 'Mommy,' 'Nana,' and 'Grandma J.' Funeral from Beecher & Bennett, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours on Monday from 4-8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven. Memorial donations may be made in Margaret's name to the Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
