Margaret Connors Hurlburt, wife of the late Edward Hurlburt, formerly of Dessa Drive, Hamden, went to be with her God January 17, 2006 in the Hospital of St. Raphael after a brief illness. Mrs. Hurlburt was born in Windsor Locks, CT, a daughter of the late John and Matilda Batum Connors and had resided in Hamden since 1946. She was employed in the registrar's office at Albertus Magnus College for 22 years prior to her retirement in 1980. She was a parishioner of St. Rita Church for 65 years, was a member of the New Haven Council of Catholic Women, and the Alpha Iota National Business Sorority. She is survived by her beloved daughter-in-law, Jackie Hurlburt of Cheshire with whom she resided, a nephew, John "Jack" Connors of Killingworth, grandchildren, Jay Asmus and his wife, Nina Asmus, Jodi Teto and her husband, Chris Teto, great-grandchildren, Haylie Asmus, C.J. and Tory Teto, and 2 step- granddaughters Breanna and Billie Fournier. Mrs. Hurlburt was predeceased by her sons John "Jack" Hurlburt, and Eugene "Hubbie" Hurlburt and a brother, John Connors. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Friday, Jan 20, at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in St Rita Church at 10 a.m. Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Interment in Mt.
