Margaret E. Hobbs, 93, longtime Hamden resident, passed away on Dec, 25, 2014 at her home. Born in Cannan, New Hampshire on Nov. 12, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Burton G. Curry & Viola F. Hammond Curry. She was a former secretary for the Winchester Repearing Arms Co. Her funeral services were private. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hopsital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
I\’m so sorry to learn about Margaret\’s passing. I worked with her at Winchester and stayed in touch with her through the years. She was a lovely person–always had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. I know she is happy now with the Lord and her children.

So saddened to learn that Margaret has passed. She was a wonderful person and friend for many years. We shared lots of good times together. I will miss her always. She is in my heart and prayers forever.
