  2. Dear family of Margaret Moreau, Though I never met Margaret, she was a member of the New Haven Chapter of the Society of the Companions of the Holy Cross. I know that she was also a member of the SCHC in Virginia before she moved to Connecticut. On behalf of the New Haven Chapter and the entire Society, our sincere sympathy for the loss of your mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. I would love to speak to one of you about Margaret so as to write her memorial to be read at the next SCHC annual meeting. Please contact me by email or by phone (203-248-5317). Thank you. Karen Johnson Associate Companion in Charge New Haven Chapter

  3. I remember your mom as a good friend; I remember all the fudge that she made for the church bazaar every year and sometimes she took fudge to people when she delivered meals on wheels. What a great sense of humor she had! She will be greatly missed.

  4. Pembroke and Margarette, Your Mother and my Mother served together during WWII. They were close friends. I was sad to come across your Mom’s obituary. My Mom, Alice, died in 1997. I am sorry for your loss. Your Mom was so nice to me and my family when I was at Annapolis. I hope you all are well. Semper Fidelis, Dutch Bertholf
