Meriden- Margaret Jean (Berggren) Traue, 52, beloved wife of 26 years of Thomas Traue, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Masonic Healthcare Center in Wallingford. She was born August 20, 1956 in Meriden a daughter of Harry Berggren and the late Lydwina (Schipke) Berggren. Margaret was a parishioner of St. Mary Church, and was also the financial secretary and After-School coordinator at St. Mary School. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister who will be deeply missed. In addition to her husband Tom, she is survived by two sons, Eric and Scott Traue both of Meriden, a daughter, Abby Traue of Meriden, two sisters, Jean and her husband Thomas Fields of Southington, Nancy and her husband William Mudry of Meriden and a brother, Jay Berggren of Meriden as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at 11:00am at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. The Rev. David Carey will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Boniface Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Friday October, 17 (TODAY) from 4-8pm. Contributions in Margaret's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.Box 1004, Meriden, CT 06450.
