In St. Raphael's Hospital, New Haven, Dec. 24, 2004, Marguerite Roston Estelle, 87, of Fairfax St., West Haven died after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Raymond Estelle. Loving mother of Raymond Gray Estelle of New Haven and Renee Estelle of West Haven, loving grandmother of Raymond G. Estelle II, Nyiesha Estelle of New Haven, Tyniesha (Maynard) Douglas of North Plainfield, NJ, Malcolm Estelle of New Haven, Ruth Dupree of New Haven and Steven Estelle of New Haven and 3 great-grandchildren, Dasan Dupree of New Haven, Steven Hylton of New Haven and Sincere Hylton of New Haven. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Estelle, her son, Ronald Estelle I, her grandson, Ronald Estelle II, her mother, Queen Victoria Gray-Roston, her father, Frederick Roston, her sister, Renee Dyer-Hammond and her brother Calvin Dyer. She also leaves behind a daughter-in-law, Betty Estelle of New Haven and a grandson-in-law, Jerrid Douglas of North Plainfield, NJ. In addition, she leaves behind a host of family, friends and other loved ones. Marguerite was born in New Haven, CT on Jan. 20, 1917, daughter of the late Queen Victoria Gray-Roston and Frederick Roston. Mrs. Estelle worked for Winchester Fire Arm Co., A.C. Gilbert and St. Raphael's Hospital for several years. Service of interment Tues., Jan. 4, 2005 at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven. Arrangements in care of BEECHER & BENNETT TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven.
