Mari Anne Brady-Varunes Zarrello
Mari Anne Brady-Varunes Zarrello, age 58, of Hamden passed away Dec. 14, 2011 at the Hospital of St. Raphael. She was the daughter of Norma Parker Zarrello of Charlestown, MA and the late Vincent Zarrello, mother of Jennifer (Joshua) Jerome of Pawtucket, RI and Gene F. Brady, Jr. of East Haven, sister of Gary Swanson of Cherry Hill, NJ, Michael Zarrello of Medford, NJ, Vincent Zarrello of Worcester, MA, Victoria Cunningham of Glen Allen, VA, Theodora Stevenson of Vincentown, NJ, Christine Zarrello of Ft. Myers, FL and Marilee Mersereau of Chicago, IL. Also survived by a grandson Vincent Jerome and several nieces and nephews. Mari Anne was born in Bellmawr, NJ, March 12, 1953. She received her MBA degree from the University of New Haven. She had worked as a bookkeeper at Firelite Corp. and later owned and operated her own business for 20 years, Financial & Computer Services. She was a member of the Hamden Elks Lodge 2224. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, Dec. 18 at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden from 1 – 4 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, 2000 L Street, NW, Suite 410, Washington, DC 20036.
To Mari Anne’s family: Mari Anne and I were fellow classmates at UNH12 EMBA program . I will be in NYC for the next three days and will be unable to attend her service. My memories of Mari Anne are all good ones. Sincerely, Jim O’Brien
