Maria Pabon

MERIDEN- Maria Pabon, 67, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017, at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Yabucoa, P.R. on March 20, 1950, daughter of the late Valerio and Felicita Santiago Rodriguez. Maria was the loving wife of the late Israel Pabon, Sr. A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Maria is survived by her children, Mily Pabon and her husband, Joel Morales, of Meriden, Israel Pabon, Jr., and his wife, Amarilis Rodriguez, of Meriden, and Eliezer Pabon and his wife, Anna I. Vazquez, of Polk City, Fla. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Shari, Charisa, Shailynn, Bryan, and Kayleeann; great-granddaughter, Aliana Maria; two brothers; five sisters; and several nieces and nephews. Maria loved and cared for her family first and foremost as her family was the most important thing to her. She was always willing to lend a helping hand. Maria's funeral service will be held Friday, November 3 at 10:00 a.m. at Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Burial will follow in the State Veteran's Cemetery, Middletown. Relatives and friends may visit with Maria's family Thursday, Nov. 2 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30.
