Branford-Marilyn Bogart Chamberlain, 59, wife of George W. Chamberlain, passed away Wed. July 3, 2002 after a brief illness. She was born in New Haven, Sept. 21, 1942, a daughter of Lucy Connellan Bogart of New Haven and the late Louis Bogart and had lived in Branford since 1974. Mrs. Chamberlain was emplyed by the Yale Press for 22 years retiring in 2001. Beside her husband she is survived by a daughter; Christine Sambor of Middlefield, CT, two sons; George W. Chamberlain, Jr. and William P. Chamberlain, both of Branford, CT, two sisters; Jean Pope of New Haven and Nancy Rohinski, N.Y.C. and 4 grandchildren. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Tuesday, July 9 at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in St. Aedan Church, 112 Fountain St., New Haven at 10 a.m. Friends may call prior to the Mass from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Burial in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
