Hi Trish, Hannah, Susan, Joel, Sarah, Scott, Allison I just wanted to say I was thinking of you today, Saterday. In speaking with your mom and grandma I know how proud she was of all of you.
To Mrs. Brechlin’s Family, My son, Tom Shernow, was a student in Mrs.Brechlin’s 1st grade class (1966-7).I remember her with gratitude as the .perfect. teacher for young children. She was a warm, gentle, nuturing teacher.I was impressed that she recognized Tom and another classmate were proficient in reading and had them read in there own unit. Tom was pleased to learn I was writing this message. He noted that Mrs. Brechlin motivated the class to read. She had to have special qualities for me to remember her so vividly after 40 years.
