Mario Guarino

Mario Guarino, 87, of Milford, formerly of Orange, husband of the late Enea Guarino, passed away on Tuesday Sept 8, 2015 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was born in Cerreto Sannita in Provincia DiBenevento, Italy to the late Luigi and Maria DiLella Guarino on September 15, 1927. He is survived by his loving daughters Carla (Thomas) Relihan of Woodbridge, and Maria (Paul) Borelli of Orange, granddaughters Teresa and Gianna Borelli of Orange, and many nieces and nephews. Along with his wife he is pre-deceased by his two brothers and five sisters. Mario was a hard working life-time master carpenter working for Local Union # 24 in New Haven for most of his career. He enjoyed swimming at the High Plains Community Center, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. Friends are invited to visit with Mario's family on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. in the BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven. Procession to leave the funeral home on Saturday September 12, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. for his Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in Holy Infant Church, Racebrook Rd., Orange at 10 a.m. Burial to follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
