MERIDEN - Marion S. Shur, 79, of 24 New Hanover Ave., died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2001, at MidState Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Yoland Shur and the late William Steinbach. She was born in Meriden on Sept. 25, 1922, the daughter of the late Truman A. and Madeline Bonnell Rebstock Stiles and was a graduate of Meriden High School. She had been employed in the office of the former Liberty Auto Store. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Ramee of Burke,VA and Donna S. Anderson of South Windsor; two sons, William E. Steinbach of Newington and Gary A. Steinbach of Durham; a brother, Sherman Stiles of Westbrook; three sisters, Lucille Kenney of Maine, Barbara Brainard of East Hampton and Joan Lessard of Yalesville; five grandchildren, Neal Ramee of North Carolina, Adam Ramee of Richmond, VA, Nathan Ramee of Virginia, Scott Rogers of Newington and Deborah Hatton of Windsor Locks; a niece, Lillian St. Paul of Florida and several other nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Lorraine Peterson. Funeral services will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. with calling hours from 6 to 8 p.m. at Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. The Rev. Kenneth Frazier will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
