PHOENIX, AZ - Mary J. Glorioso, 85, formerly of Meriden, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2007 in Phoenix, AZ. She was the wife of the late Joseph Glorioso. Born in Meriden on March 13, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Rose Barretta Ferro. She had lived in Phoenix for the last ten years. She is survived by two daughters, Rosemarie Miller and her husband, Joseph and Barbara Adamczyk and her husband, Walt, all of Phoenix, AZ; two sons, Joseph Glorioso and his wife, Rosemary of Meriden and Vincent Glorioso and his wife, Ann of Clarksville, TN; a brother, Phillip Ferro of California; a sister, Jennie Grenier of Meriden; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Agnes Thompson and Angie Ross and one brother, Dominic Ferro. The funeral will be held Tuesday, Dec. 18, at 11 a.m. at the Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to A.L.S (Lou Gehrig's Disease), Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association, 21021 Ventura Blvd., Suite 321, Woodland Hills, CA 91364-2206.
