Mary Savinelli Manguilli

Mary Savinelli Manguilli, 83, of 2417 Creamery Rd., Guilford, VT. and formerly of Hamden died Thursday in Vermont. She was the wife of the late Emanuel '' Chick'' Manguilli. She was born in New Haven, May 13, 1920 daughter of the late Vito and Francesca Barone Savinelli. She was the manager of the cafeteria at the former Saint Mary's High School in New Haven prior to her retirement. Mrs Manguilli was a resident of Hamden untill moving to Vermont three years ago to live with her daughter. She was a volunteer and sang with the U.S.O. durning the war years. She is survived by her daughter, Doreen Cohen of Guilford, VT. son, Kenneth Manguilli of Putney,VT. sisters, Ann Palmer of East Haven, Frances Raccio of Hamden and her brother, Angelo Savinelli of Hamden. Also,survived by her grandson, Joshua Cohen of Summerfield, FL. and her faithful dog, Star. She was predeceased by brothers, Harry, Tony, William, Peter, and Louis Savinelli and sisters, Tessie Fiorillo and Rose Angelini. Mary will live in our memories and hearts of all thepeople she touched. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Wednesday morning Oct. 8th at 9;30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Hamden at 10;00am. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.
