  11. Lisa, Hannah and Zac, I just saw a message from Mark Ruszczyk about Matty’s passing and I am so sorry for your loss. Matty, Mark and I were in the same fraternity at Bentley. We were a year apart but he was always welcoming to me and others in our group. I have not kept in touch with him in recent years but I am sure he was as loving a husband and father as he was a brother to me when we were at Bentley. You and your family will be in my prayers.

  12. My deepest condolences to the Veneris family. It has been about eight years since I talked with Marc and Matthew. My husband, Richard, and I owned a dry cleaners in Branford, CT, and Richard was the salesman for the company that sold dry cleaning supplies to your Dad before buying Branford Cleaners. Another connection to the family is that our daughter, Beth, was a classmate of Matthew’s along ago as nursery school. So from our family to all of you, my prayers for you to find strength at this time. One day at a time is how we get through tough times.

  13. My deepest sympathies to Diane and the Verneris families. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Cathy Ahern

  14. My family and I had the best memories of Matthew from our family vacations up at Cape Cod. He was such a kind, gentle sole with an amazing heart. It just breaks my heart to think of the loss for his Mom, brothers, wife, and children. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers to get through this sad time and hopefully find peace one day. Keep the happy/fun memories close to your heart and know he and your Dad are close..

  15. My thoughts and prayers to family, friends and to all who knew Matt from Rainbow Cleaners. He was a sweet and kind person. So many memories at the store with Matt. We never had to look for him, he was either pressing or cleaning, and he never took breaks back in the day, but always tried to have fun and allow his workers to do the same. Matt would laugh, and sing. One song I remember Matt singing really loud was from U2 called ONE. He would belt that song out so loud you could hear him outside. He was normally quiet so I couldn’t believe it when I walked in the back and saw him really getting into that song. I am very saddened to hear this news ,but I hope for everyone that has a memory of Matt that they hold it and cherish it because he is definitely worthy of that. Lisa, You are an amazing person and complimented him so well. I will be praying for you and the children through this difficult time.

  16. Our heartfelt condolences to Lisa, Zach, Hannah and the entire Veneris family. Matt was always great with the boys at baseball. We are thinking of all of you and keeping you in our hearts. You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. So sorry we can’t be there to give our condolences in person. The Stegner family
