Maureen Elinor Seeba

Maureen Elinor Connors Seeba, age 80, passed away on May 4, 2023. Maureen was the beloved wife of Walter H. Seeba. Born in New Haven on December 29, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Elinor (Hibbard) Connors. Maureen graduated from West Haven High School in 1960 and lived there until her move to New York and eventually to Wallingford with her family in 1988. She was a former secretary at the Army Induction Center and a former medical secretary to the Chief of Medicine at the Veteran’s Hospital in Castle Point, New York. She most recently worked at her church, where she was an active volunteer, The Church of the Most Holy Trinity. She enjoyed painting, reading, and being with her family and friends. Her favorite flower was a green carnation and she loved St. Patrick’s Day, shamrocks and anything green.

Maureen is also survived by her three daughters, Johanna Batchelder and her husband Jason of Lyndeborough, New Hampshire, Erin Scagnelli and her husband Chris of Wallingford, Meagan Seeba of Charlotte, North Carolina and her sisters Kathleen McMahon & Lorraine Connors.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer’s research in Maureen’s name at www.alz.org.

Funeral Services and a Mass of Christian Burial will be private.
