Stoyer, 65, of Orange, CT, husband of Sharon Brown Stoyer, father of Jessica Stoyer, Jonathan Stoyer, Valerie Stoyer of Martha's Vineyard, MA, Christopher Stoyer of Hamden, Jeffrey Stoyer of Meriden, Adam Stoyer of Malone, NY , step-father to Tishante Brown, brother of Judy Pozzi of Branford, Susie Johnson of Missouri, Steve Stoyer of North Pole, AL and the late Denny Stoyer. Also grandfather of Brittney and Samantha Stoyer and Elisha Brown. Michael was born in Harrisburg, PA, June 29, 1942 a son of the late Wayne and Helen Stoyer. He served in the US Navy and was a member of Kingdom Life Christian Church. His most recent employment was as an installer for Northeast Cabinet Co. of Hamden where he had worked for several years. Funeral service Tues., Oct. 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Kingdom Life Christian Church, 1455 Naugatuck Ave., Milford. Friends may call at the church Tues. from 9 - 10:30 a.m. Interment in Orange Center Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 Campbell Ave. at Court St., West Haven.
