Carr, Michaeline Michaeline Carr, 74, of West Haven died Sunday, September 2, 2007 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Catherine Boyce Carr. Michaeline was born November 23, 1932 in New Haven. She was employed by the Orange Board of Education for 34 years, from 1956-1990 as a school teacher. Funeral Service Friday, September 7, 2007 at 11 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR Funeral Home, 410 Campbell Ave., West Haven. Friends may call prior to the service from 10-11 a.m.

  5. I taught fourth grade at Peck Place School from 1969 to 1976, and certainly enjoyed the company of Michaeline, both professionally and personally. Fond memories of a lovely person.

  6. I was truly saddened to hear of the passing of my third grade teacher at Peck Place School (1973). I have fond memories of my elementary school years and Mrs. Carr was definitely part of them. Best wishes to her family.
