Mildred Boyer Hansen
In Wallingford, July 26, 2003, Mildred Boyer Hansen of 22 Masonic Ave., Wallingford, wife of the late Frederick Hansen. Born in New Haven, May 7, 1900, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Louise Graf Boyer. Mrs. Hansen was a secretary for the International Union of Operating Engineers retiring in 1983. She is survived by her son, Richard B.Hansen of Hamden and a daughter-in-law, Lynn Hansen of Annapolis, MD, 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Robert F. Hansen. Funeral service at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN, Wed., July 30th at 10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Masonc Charity Foundation, P.O. Box 70, Wallingford, CT 06492.
My family and I have know Mildred since 1960. She was a beautiful woman, a good neighbor, and a wonderful friend. We are better for having known her.
My fondest memories would be shoving Mrs.Hansen walk way before 8 am. Because she would surely be out there doing it on her on. The Brownies that we received as a .Thank You. will always be missed. I remember Mrs. Hansen as a wonderful and kind neighbor. Walter Brenckle
