Mildred C. Mitchell
Mildred C. Mitchell, 95, of Hamden passed away on May 18, 2011 at the Hamden Health Care Center. She was born in Providence, RI on February 9, 1916 to the late Thomas and Anna Warren Mitchell. Miss Mitchell leaves her sister Audrey Foyer, a niece Susan Foyer Smith, her nephew Donald Foyer, a grandnephew and several grand nieces. The family would like to thank the kind and professional staff at the Hamden Health Care Center for their wonderful care. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, May 21st at 10:00 a.m. in Beaverdale Memorial Park. BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden, in care of arrangements.
We extend to your family our deepest sympathy on the death of Millie. She was a great neighbor and we enjoyed chatting with her often. We miss seeing her working around her front yard. She inspired the neighborhood.
Dear Ming- To a wonderful and fun aunt. I remember all the family times including the holidays where everyone was together. I loved the knitted slippers you would make, the hikes up to West Rock Park, our sleep over trips to Hamden when we were kids-but especially the fun times you made for us. I will miss you.
