Mildred Millie' Paul

mildred paul
Mildred “Millie” Paul, 95, of Hamden, CT, formerly of Milford, CT, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2018 at Hamden Health Care Center. Mrs. Paul was born in Racine, Wisconsin on February 3, 1922 to the late Joseph and Francis Stastny. Much of her childhood was spent in Chicago, Illinois until she met and married the late James Paul on October 3, 1941 in South Bend, Indiana. Eventually settling in the town of Milford, she and her husband of 45 years raised two children. Mildred was gregarious, an avid reader, had a passion for chocolate, loved to shop, and was always eager to try everything “new” on the market. She worked at Sunrunner Transport in North Haven for many years and was appreciated by all of her coworkers. Mildred is survived by her two children; a son, Donald Paul, and a daughter, Linda Montauti; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. One of Mildred’s favorite prayers reads as follows: For food and all the gifts of love, we give thee thanks and praise. Look down oh Father from above, and bless us all our days. Mildred was loved immensely and will be missed more than words could ever convey. May she rest in eternal peace. At her request, no services will be held.
