Frank William Pereira, age 67, of Birmingham, MI, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends in Ann Arbor, Michigan on November 19th after a long hard-fought battle. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, Frank was a graduate of Suffolk University and received an MBA from the University of Chicago. He was a corporate executive in the mining, telecommunications, software and auto industries. His career included President of Montana Talc, President of Bell Atlantic Video Services, Vice President Strategy USWest and Brand Manager Advanced Technologies for General Motors. Frank is survived by his wife of 37 years, Margaret 'Meg' Walsh Pereira, formerly of Hamden, and his daughter Caitlin Noone Pereira, currently living in China. He was the son of the late Frank & Marie Pereira of Fall River, Massachusetts, the brother of Vivian (Billy) DePerrio of Palm Coast, FL, Veronica Pereira of Fall River, MA, Charlotte Garrison of Crescent City, FL, Nancy (Tony) Tomao of Bedford, MA, and Rosemarie (Gary) Wood of Fredericksburg, VA. He is also survived by 27 nieces and nephews. His funeral will be Monday, Nov. 24th at 9:15 AM from BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM in St. Rita Church, Hamden. Friends may also visit with his family on Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamden. A memorial service for Frank will be held at The Eisenhower Center, Ann Arbor, MI in December, date to be announced. Donations in lieu of flowers, suggested to: Coalition Protecting Auto No-Fault, 216 N. Chestnut St., Lansing, MI 48933.
