Mrs. Lillian B. Coles
Lillian B. Coles, age 75 of Hamden, passed away at her home on October 2, 2013. Born in Ansonia, CT on September 26, 1938 she was a daughter of Lillian Jackson Black of SC and the late Edward Black. Lillian is survived by her daughters, Judith Gist, Nancy Boyd & Barbara Inge all of Hamden; sons, Thomas Boyd & his wife Sheila of Florida, Keith Boyd & his wife Pamela of New Haven and Arnold 'Scott' Boyd & his wife Jackie of West Haven; grandchildren, Marian Antunes, Marlon Boyd, Christine Williams, Ronald Kirkland Jr, Leah Boyd, Lacy Boyd, Candace Webb, Tiffany Boyd, Tyler Boyd, Brandon Kendrick, Zach Charbonneau, Marquis Boyd & Scott Boyd; great grandchildren, Andrew Rivera, Sebastian McKercher, Kyan Owens, Michael Patti, Anthony Patti, Nyssa Foster De-oro, Arman Foster De-oro, Kaprice Blatche, Alec Boyd, Samantha Boyd, Ronnie Kirkland, Alexia, Lawrence Williams Jr, Leilany Castenada, Mikayla Kendrick & Keyanna Kendrick; sisters, Barbara Johnson of Charleston, SC & Janice Gore of Richmond, VA and brother Howard Black of Charleston, SC. She was predeceased by her brother William Black. Lillian was a retired Postal Clerk, working out of the Wallingford and New Haven Post Offices for 28 years. Lillian was the widow of Fredrick Coles. Friends may visit with her family at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden on Tuesday, Oct, 8th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and may attend her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven.
