Mrs. Mary Slattery Collett
Mary Slattery Collett, 76, of Hamden, CT passed away peacefully at her home on August 3, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles E. Collett, Sr. Born in Bala Cynwyd, PA on January 17, 1937, daughter of the late Thomas and Imelda Blake Slattery. She is survived by her children, Catherine C. Fredericksen of Wolcott, Charles E. Collett, Jr, of Hamden, Lucy A. Collett of Rockville Centre, NY, Daniel J. Collett of Bolton, MA, Thomas A. Collett of Rockaway, NJ and Jonathan R. Collett of South Glastonbury. Mary is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Friends may visit with her family on Thursday, Aug. 8th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden and may attend her Mass of Christian Burial Friday, Aug. 9th, to be celebrated at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 2819 Whitney Ave, Hamden. Burial will be Private. In Lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Autism Speaks at http://events.autismspeaks.org/tributes/collettsibs.
