Nancy A. Miller
Wallingford- Nancy A. Miller, 72, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Hartford Hospital. She was born March 8, 1944 in Binghamton, NY to the late Walter and Lillian (Morris) Kasmarcik. Nancy retired from the U.S. Defense Department after many years of service. She was a very active member of First United Methodist Church in Meriden as well as an active volunteer at the Meriden Soup Kitchen. Whether it was watching her grandchildren play sports, participating in her knitting group, or playing cards, dominos, or bingo; Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and large group of friends and she was always available to lend a helping hand. She is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey Miller of Meriden and Richard Miller and his wife Amy of Wallingford, two grandchildren; Benjamin and Katelyn Miller of Wallingford, five brothers; Walter, Kenneth, Victor, Stuart, and Stephen Kasmarcik, all of New York, a sister, Sharon Wilson of Georgia, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Nancy was predeceased by her brothers, Larry, Gerry, and her twin David. A funeral service honoring Nancy's life will be held on Saturday, Jauary 28, 2017 at 1pm at First United Methodist Church, 159 East Main St., Meriden. Burial will be in New York at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in Nancy's memory may be made to either First United Methodist Church of Meriden, 159 East Main St., Meriden, CT 06450 or The Meriden Soup Kitchen, P.O.
