Nancy Heller Andrews
CROMWELL - Nancy Heller Andrews, 64, of 36 Agawam Drive, formerly of Meriden, died Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born in Meriden on Dec. 1, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Dorothea Kirschstein Heller, Jr. She had been the office manager/bookkeeper at the Ridgeview Health Care Center in Cromwell until the time of her illness. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Meriden and was an avid sports fan and a member of the Timberline Golf Club in Berlin. She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Wood, of New Haven; two sons and a daughter-in-law, John F. and Anne Andrews of Meriden and Christopher S. Andrews of Boca Raton, FL; a sister Cynthia Isyk of Wilmington, N.C., with whom she traveled extensively; a brother, Frederick W. Heller III of Lake Tahoe, CA; five grandchildren, Jessica Wood of New Haven, who cared for her during her illness, John F. Andrews, Daniel Andrews and Katherine Andrews, all of Meriden, Cameron Andrews of Boca Raton, FL; a cousin and dear friend, Cheryl Gudrian of Royal Palm Beach, FL and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Sat., June 1 at 2 p.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT FLATOW FUNERAL HOME, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden, Rev. Wallace Merdinyan will officiate. Friends may call Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time. Her family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation for the excellent care provided by Hartford Hospital and the Connecticut VNA. It saddens me so that your Mom has passed away but I know she is better off. She was always such a good friend to me-I will miss her dearly. I am so sorry that Alex & Ryan really didn\’t get to know her & share in her humor. I JUST wonder what she and Carolyn are doing right now! Love, Susan

Sorry to hear of Nancy’s passing. She’s at peace now. Played golf many times with Nancy at Timberlin and Patton Brook. We will miss her.
