Donna,my thoughts are with you and your family. I know how hard it is to lose a parent — even when you think you are prepared, it’s still difficult. I will always remember your mother as one of our most faithful concert attendees (even though she sometimes fell asleep). I’m glad I was able to meet her. Take care and keep singing! –Sally
To the family of Nancy Langer..my deepest sorrow goes out to you. Nancy was one of my closest school mates since Troop Jr. High School thru the class of ’48 at Hillhouse High School. We were in the orchestra together at both locations. Nancy always introduced me at reunion time prior to performing on the trumpet. Her late husband, Stuart, was a very close friend in addition. I always paid a visit when returning to New Haven. Once again…Nancy Langer will be missed.
