Meriden- Nancy (Reed) Siegler, 84, wife of Robert B. Siegler passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015. She was born May 2, 1931 in Easton, PA, daughter of the late Leonard and Susan (Freidly ) McCloskey. Nancy was anLPN at Masonic Healthcare Center until her retirement and was a parishoner of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was a loving and amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed. In addition to her husband Robert of 63 years she is survived by a daughter, Lois Siegler of Rocky Hill, two sons and their wives, Robert (Beverly) Siegler of Southington and Neil (Linda) Siegler of Meriden, three grandchildren; Anne Sharnick, Aaron Siegler and Melissa Sanders, a great granddaughter, Susan Sharnick a brother and sister-in-law, Leon and Sherry McCloskey of Lancaster, PA. as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden on Thursday, August 27 from 4 to 6pm. A service will follow at 6pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, Grand Central Station, P.O.Box 4777, NY, NY 10163-4777. Anyone who knew Nancy will never forget her wonderful sense of humor...Yakapoolia!
