Neil R. Siegler

Neil R. Siegler, 59, of Meriden, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017 at his home. He was the beloved husband of 35 years to Linda Craven Siegler. Neil was born in New Brunswick, NJ, son of Robert B. Siegler and the late Nancy R. Siegler. He worked in IT and Engineering Support for Decision One for 37 years. With a wealth of knowledge and experience, he was generous with all who knew him, sharing 'how-to' advice on any home repair and was apt to jump in to help 'do it'. He was meticulous in his work and organization, exhibiting expert craftsmanship in every undertaking. Those who knew him can attest to his irreverent sense of humor and how much he enjoyed his friends and family. An avid NASCAR fan, he cherished his trips to Laconia and cheering on Kevin Harvick. Along with his wife Linda, Neil is survived by his father Robert B. Siegler, of Meriden; his siblings Robert R. Siegler and his wife Beverly, of Southington and Lois A. Siegler of Rocky Hill; nieces and nephews Ann Sharnick, Aaron Siegler, and Melissa Sanders. He is also survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Kim Craven of Madison. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation with Neil's family on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at BEECHER & BENNETT-FLATOW FUNERAL HOME, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden.
